More than Just the Makeup

Great creative makeup comes from more than a good makeup look. It comes from understanding the concept, collaborating with the team, and creating something that works just as well through the camera as it does in person.

My experience spans fashion and editorial shoots, creative campaigns, performance and runway, including working backstage at London Fashion Week. I’m comfortable working with a detailed brief, developing an idea collaboratively, or being handed a slightly unhinged moodpboard and told “go for it”.

I work across a wide range of skin tones, ages, genders and styles, with an inclusive, adaptable approach to every face in my chair.

From the Other Side of the Camera

“I had the pleasure of working with Erin, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Within just two weeks, Erin created an absolutely amazing makeup look for my model. I asked for a full-band-style eyeshadow look, sent over a couple of reference images, and gave Erin the freedom to add her own creative style using purples and pinks. She absolutely nailed it! The finished look was bold, creative, and perfectly suited to the shoot.

Erin is incredibly talented, takes direction while still bringing her own artistic vision, and delivered beyond what I had imagined. I’d highly recommend her to any photographer or creative looking for a talented and imaginative makeup artist.

Tell me as much or as little as you have so far. A finished moodboard is great, but a half-formed idea, a colour palette, or “this might sound weird, but…..” is more than enough to get started.
